Terms and Conditions
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using School of Freelancing ("we," "us," "our," the "Platform"), including our website, trainings, and technical support services, you ("you," "user," "client") agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
2. Services We Offer
School of Freelancing provides two categories of service:
- Training: Linux and cloud freelancing trainings and bootcamps for beginners, covering system administration, VoIP platforms, DevOps tooling, and AI/agentic systems.
- Tech Support: Professional Linux and cloud technical support services delivered to clients worldwide, including server administration, deployment, and third-party platform integration.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to enroll in a training or purchase a service. By using the Platform you confirm you meet this requirement.
4. Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
5. Training Enrollment & Access
- Enrollment is confirmed upon receipt of payment (where applicable) or explicit confirmation from us.
- Training materials are provided for your personal, non-commercial educational use only.
- Access duration, live session schedules, and any capstone/project requirements are specified per-training at the time of enrollment.
- We do not guarantee specific employment, freelance income, or client outcomes as a result of completing any training.
6. Tech Support Services
- Scope of work, deliverables, and pricing for tech support engagements are agreed upon in writing (via proposal, contract, or the freelancing platform used — e.g. Upwork, Contra) before work begins.
- Clients are responsible for providing accurate access credentials, environment details, and timely feedback needed to complete the engagement.
- Any work involving production systems is performed at the client's direction; clients are strongly encouraged to maintain their own backups before support work begins.
- Additional work outside the agreed scope may incur additional fees, to be agreed upon before proceeding.
7. Payments, Fees & Refunds
- Fees for trainings and support services are as listed on the Platform or as quoted directly to you.
- Payments made through third-party freelance platforms (e.g. Upwork, Contra) are also subject to that platform's own payment and dispute terms.
- Refunds, where offered, are handled on a case-by-case basis and must be requested within the timeframe stated at the time of purchase. Completed support work and delivered custom deployments are generally non-refundable.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Platform or our services for any unlawful purpose, including unauthorized access to systems you do not own or have permission to modify.
- Share, resell, or redistribute training materials without our written permission.
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or misuse the Platform's content or infrastructure.
- Submit false or misleading information when engaging our services.
9. Intellectual Property
All training content, curriculum, branding, and website materials are the property of School of Freelancing unless otherwise stated. Custom code, configurations, or deliverables produced specifically for a client under a paid support engagement are owned by the client upon full payment, unless a separate agreement states otherwise.
10. Third-Party Platforms
Our services may involve or reference third-party platforms (e.g. Upwork, Contra, GitHub, DigitalOcean, Twilio, Telnyx). We are not responsible for the availability, policies, or actions of these third parties.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Platform and services are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted availability.

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold School of Freelancing harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your misuse of the Platform, violation of these Terms, or violation of any third-party rights.
14. Termination
